SMFRThePodcast

Real life experiences, (very) short stories, and reminders we can all apply to everyday life. Hopefully thought-provoding, always down-to-earth along with a l'il stream of consciousness and humor.

You can access over 250 SMFRThePodcast 5-10 minute audio episodes and YouTube 1 minute shorts below, which are uploaded several times a week. Note: There are no duplicates; often there's one YT short and an accompanying longer audio episode on the same subject.

My Patreon site is also available for a personalized musical performance (I'm a solo vocalist/guitarist) or a birthday/anniversary message video - or even just a personalized video just for you or a loved one.

Ep105/400: Let's Continue To Inspire Each Other!

I put the 400 in there because, as you'll hear in this l'il 5 minute podcast, we now have 400 total episodes over the past several years. It's all because of YOU and your support. I do believe the topics we discuss - and they're all inter-related under the umbrella of living our best lives and treating ourselves and others well - are inspirational. Hopefully to you as I know they inspire me; reminders of how to get back on track when things go askew. I sincerely appreciate your comments and o...

Let’s Always Have Something To Look Forward To… Big or Small!

Let's always have something to look forward to... big or small. It's so important - as we go through our daily lives - to have that "carrot on a stick". This short message is a reminder to prioritize our own well-being and keep moving forward. If this helped you reset your day, please subscribe and s

Music heals!

Music heals! Stressed at home or work? Turn on some tunes. Just having a bad day in general? Yup. Do it. No matter the situation, music is always there as a distraction or a mood changer. It really really works and I know you know it too - just a friendly reminder. Love all y'all!

Take A Break (Do It For YOU!)

Take a break... do it for YOU! Small or extended, getting away from work or a less-than-fun situation does wonders for our mental health right? So even if you've got stuff backed up and you don't see a break in the proceedings - do it anyway. Organize and set things up for when you get back, or heck, just walk away and deal with it later. Yes this is a recurring theme here but so doggone important. Remember: WE are #1 and we have to look out for #1. Love all y'all!

Calmness Is Power!

Calmness is power... and you what else? It's confidence. When we stay calm in the face of a daunting situation it conveys strength to all involved. Pausing before we speak, not getting dragged into a pointless argument - all leads to respect and shows leadership. It's simple things such as this that show others (and proves to ourselves) that we are in control and on top of things. Oh yeah. Love all y'all!
