Having something to look forward to, from simply planning a walk with a friend, to perhaps setting up a well-deserved vacation, helps keep us in a positive frame of mind. If we go through our days aimlessly we can get caught in an endless cycle day-in and day-out. Have that "carrot on a stick" or a goal of sorts breaks that up - hey, it works for me and... don'tcha know I love all y'all!
